Arsenal’s Aubameyang charges teammates ahead of Atletico Madrid clash

The Gunners will battle Diego Simeone’s men for a place in the final of the Europa League

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent a message of support to his teammates ahead of Thursday’s game against Atletico Madrid.

The Gunners will be hoping to negotiate their way past the Rojiblancos when they visit the Wanda Metropolitano for the second leg of their semi-final fixture.

It ended 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium last Thursday after Alexandre Lacazette’s opener was neutralised by Antonio Griezmann’s 82nd-minute effort.

However, Aubameyang, cup-tied for the competition this season, has charged the team with ‘positive energy’.

“Giving my positive energy to my boys. Good for today, Arsenal,” Aubameyang wrote on Instagram.
