Garba Shehu Father Mbaka Is Against President Buharis Administration Because He Asked For A Contract That Was Refused By The President…
Earlier, we brought you a report that Father Ejike Mbaka of Adoration Ministries Enugu that endorsed President Muhamadu Buhari for president of the nation during his first and second cwmpaign for the presidential seat, called his administration a failure. The Senior Special Adviser to the president on on Media and Publicity Garba Shehu has come out on behalf of the president to reveal why father Mbaka who had earlier endorsed the president called his government a failure.
According to him, Father Mbaka is angry and said those things because the president refused him a contract he requested for as compensation for his support of the Muhamadu Buhari Administration. In 5 post twitter thread he made via his official twitter handle @GarShehu, the SSA said the following:
“An outsider distilling the avalanche of verbiage, will be surprised that after supporting the President two times to win the Presidency, Father Mbaka has made a complete U-Turn, preposterously asking President Buhari to resign or be impeached.
Here is the point of departure: Father Mbaka asked for a meeting and to the shock of Presidential Aides, he came accompanied by three contractors.
The President graciously allowed them in, and to everyone’s surprise, Father Mbaka asked for contracts as compensation for his support.
Anyone familiar with President Buhari knows that he doesn’t break the laid down rules in dealing with contracts or any other government business for that matter. He requested the appropriate authorities to deal with the matter in accordance with laid down rules.
Inside the Villa, discretion prevailed, that if those pictures and requests were made public, the followers will turn against the religious leader. None of it was released. Now, this is what is eating Father Mbaka.”
What a revelation! You will want to comment. This is what you will get when as a religious leader, you use your pulpit to play politics by endorsing politicians in the excuse of hearing from God. You loose your credibility. Am still of the opinion that religious leaders stick to their pulpit and dont engage in politics.
