See Photos Of Lieutenant Hassan One Of The Eight Gallant Soldiers Killed By Boko Haram

On Tuesday, suspected members of Boko Haram attacked Sassawa village, Damaturu Local Government Area of Yobe State and killed eight soldiers.

According to reports, the attackers stormed the village in five Hilux vans around 6pm and opened fire on the soldiers.

A source told Daily Trust;

“The attackers took the soldiers unawares at a football pitch. One officer and seven other soldiers were killed. Some others got injured,”

Now, one of the dead soldiers has been identified as Lieutenant Hassan Shaibu, an Igala man from from Afor gam gam in Ankpa, Kogi state.

A friend of the deceased soldier, took to Facebook to book him.

He wrote;

O death why now?
Death why is it not later?
Death you have touched the painful.
Why do you chose my cousin?
Biohassino you left us in tears…
Would I ever see you?
Rest in peace? Very heavy…
God knows best.
My last RESPECT.
